Meeting called to order by Ted at 19:16 PST.
Michael Read the minutes from last Meeting, Minutes approved.
Treasurer’s Report: Current Balance is $2426.20

- Talked about experiences with contests.
- Field days
- Ted would like to see 3 or 4 stations, working in pairs
- One person operating and one entering call signs
- Mike to be network guy
- Talked about logging software
- June 28th meeting is after field day
- Ted would like to see 3 or 4 stations, working in pairs
- Ted to build an end fed with a friend, and possibly bring to field day.
- Gus to go to the city counsel to for club to use the facility
- Should know by the june/july sometime
- Charlene’s [KC7RQF] memorial celebration at Emigrant Springs state park june 11th
New Business
- VHF Contests
- June 11th through 13th
- Seapack
- Giant flea market
- The seminars are good per Larry and Ted
- Quite a bit of “computer junk”, but vendors still have Radios
- Club radio and club tuner, is in the possession of Ted.
- Ted has the club canopies and the sandwich sign, Joel has banner
- Barbara Hicks’ [KB7DRI] Memorial service is at the Presbyterian church on 18th of June at 2pm, bash at Graham Hicks’ home after ward, no dark colors, bright colors only
- Don, has been having problems with his vhf radio
- Talked about different towers and coax.
Joel had show and tell for a center support for a sloper antenna. Joel also made a stand for handheld radios. He uses a J-pole for this radio with some adaptor connections and uses an external speaker/mic for this radio. Works pretty good with all of the repeaters in the valley
Gus surprised us with a visit!
